Raspberry Pi has announced a new round of price increases affecting its products with 16GB of RAM. The company attributed the changes to ongoing RAM shortages and higher memory prices across the industry.
The Raspberry Pi 5 16GB has received an $80 increase, bringing its price to $385 USD. The change highlights the impact of rising RAM costs compared with the historical pricing of many Raspberry Pi products, which commonly ranged from $35 to $60.
The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 16GB is also affected, with its price increasing by $40.
Eben Upton announced the price changes in a post on the Raspberry Pi blog.
