openSUSE Leap 16.1 is now available, built from the same sources as Linux-enterprise/">SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 16.1. Alongside its software updates, the release brings the Leap Micro immutable server distribution into Leap itself.
Users can choose an immutable mode to deploy an immutable server environment. The desktop options include KDE Plasma 6.6 and GNOME 48, while Linux 6.12 LTS remains the default kernel.
Further information and downloads are available from the openSUSE website.
