Microsoft Office 2024 Professional Plus is being offered as a lifetime license for Windows at $49.97, reduced from the regular $249.99 price. The deal is presented as an alternative to the $99.99-per-year Microsoft 365 Personal subscription.
The license includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote and Access. The applications are installed directly on a PC and do not require cloud access to work, according to the offer.
Office 2024 has low system requirements and runs on a range of Windows 10 and Windows 11 computers. The package also includes dark mode across the applications, Excel tools for data analysis and Access features for database management. Microsoft provides security updates for the product for as long as it remains supported.
More than 10,000 people have purchased the license, which has an average rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 380 reviews. The offer is listed as ending on Nov. 1 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
